The archive also contains an installer that patches uxtheme.dll and makes xoo.theme the default visual style for windows xp (that means it also changes the appearance of windows before you login).

I've used this theme for years, but yesterday after switching to xp pro 64bit I can't get it to work in the new environment, so sad; anyways, a bit of googling later I found this xutheme patcher, [link] , ran it, rebooted, and once again I have a comfortable working environment.

exactly what i'm lookin for
I used winxp_sp3_uxtheme_patcher
copy/paste into _windows/resources/theme
worked like a charm.

Any chance of reverting the IE page loading progression bar back to green & the right start bar panel a lighter shade of grey? then this would be perfect!

also, the close box 'x' on some smaller windows are grey instead of red... looks too plain
